Elizabeth House was founded in 1994 to address an unmet community need: shelter and services for pregnant women and their children experiencing homelessness. When women walk through our doors for the first time, they become family, and we do our best to empower them to break the cycles of homelessness and meet their potential.
Through shelter and lifelong support, Elizabeth House empowers pregnant and parenting women in need to reclaim their lives and build successful family legacies.
We are in it “as long it takes” with the women and children in our program and create a personalized experience and plan for each one. Our Alumni Services program allows us to provide this kind of support for families. And we’re connected and involved not only when they need help, but for the rest of their lives.
