Mothers' Home, a residential shelter, provides a safe haven for vulnerable, pregnant, homeless women in crisis, and encourages them to celebrate the joy of new life and help them to prepare for their future and the future of their child. Founded in 1991 in Darby, PA, Mothers' Home provides shelter for up to 28 women at a time during their pregnancy and the first six months after their babies are born.
Our program promotes empowerment and self-sufficiency through supportive parenting, personal, and professional training. We strive to assist our mothers to reach their goals of independence and self-sufficiency.
Our goal is to provide our residents a variety of classes that offer a true benefit in improving life, parenting, and social skills. We are constantly looking to improve and upgrade our offerings.
